Bubblemaps is Live on Fantom!
The beginning of a new era
Bubblemaps was first released in September 2021 on BSC. As the product is approaching its first year anniversary, it’s important to reflect on the progress we have made: Ethereum expansion, compatibility with NFT collections, new modes (USDC, USDT, native token), and more!
Today, we are extremely proud to announce our next step towards becoming an industry standard: Bubblemaps is now live on Fantom, with the official support from the Fantom Foundation.
What is Bubblemaps?
Bubblemaps is a supply auditing tool for DeFi tokens & NFTs. It showcases the top holders of a token as bubbles (one bubble = one wallet). When FTM/ETH is transferred between those holders, their bubbles get connected on the bubble map. This gives a very accurate representation of the token distribution, and can help identify wallet manipulations for any DeFi token.
What is Fantom?
Fantom is a smart contract-supporting blockchain, powered by its native FTM token. Their mainnet was launched in December 2019, and in 2021 proved that it could support its own decentralized finance (DeFi) industry. Since Ethereum is slow and expensive, other blockchains are trying to be the leading alternative: Solana, Avalanche, Polkadot, and Fantom are the leading horses in this race. According to DeFi Llama, Fantom current TVL is close to $600M.
Why expand Bubblemaps to Fantom?
Similarly to Ethereum chain, tokens and NFT collections are being created daily in the Fantom ecosystem in a completely decentralized way. In order to improve the network security, we have been working closely with the Fantom Foundation to expand Bubblemaps to their chain. You are now able to explore any FTM tokens with Bubblemaps: display transfers in a colorful and interactive way, make research fun and convenient!

This is only the start of a series of announcement for Bubblemaps. After the Cronos Accelerator Program (by crypto.com), we told you more was coming. We will keep delivering until Bubblemaps reaches mass adoption!
